Why is Port 25 (and other email protocols) Blocked?
Port 25 is used for sending email via SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol). We all have the never-ending spam in our inboxes, which is precisely what we are trying to prevent here at Snakecraft Hosting.
How do I Get the Port 25 Block Removed?
To get the port unblocked, contact our support and describe precisely what you will use the email server for. (Yes, we also offer PTR/rDNS automated records within the control panel.)
If applicable, and if our IP becomes blacklisted on email services, you may be charged a $20 fee for de-listing the IP. If your IP is blacklisted multiple times, we reserve the right to terminate your services with at least three days notice.
