Don’t know what server would be best for you? Don’t worry, this is super easy to figure out!

Generally, you would want to choose the server that is closest to you geographically or the most central location of all your players for the lowest possible ping/latency. Games feel smoother with lower ping (ex: a ping of ~110ms and lower will be smooth, anything more than that, you may experience some lag).

Fastest and Easiest Way

We have a very simple page on our website that pings every location we offer. When purchasing your server with us, you will want to select the location that had the lowest ping. Check out the server ping page.

But how do you find the ping? Luckily, this is also easy! First, you will need to find what server to ping. Below is a list of our locations and servers you can join to test your ping:

Michigan, USA  –  US-MI.SCHOST.US
Multiple locations are planned for future expansion.

These are all the servers you can choose from when purchasing a server with us. Now find the closest server to your physical location and take note of the server’s address. In this example, we are choosing US-MI.SCHOST.US.

Want a really easy way to test the ping of our servers? In Minecraft, add what server location you want to test. Say you want to test the Michigan location, all you would do is add the node address (ex. US-MI.SCHOST.US). Once you are on the server, wait about a minute and then type /ping. A message will show your ping. Remember, the lower the ping, the better.
